While working with Australia Post, Emma wanted to create an opportunity for office-based leaders to better understand safety challenges experienced by operational employees.

Emma introduced a renewed approached to incident investigations, randomly assigning senior leaders to participate in serious incident investigation. Promoting diversity of thought and disruptive thinking, leaders were nominated to conduct investigations in departments other than their own.

Enabling change, breaking down barriers, and creating collaborative conversation between operational teams and leaders, Emma created a forum that improved the environment for operational personnel, and for senior leaders to understand and contribute to bettering working conditions.
